MY BACKGROUND

I was born in a family of doctors - my parents and sister are all Gynaecologists! Discussions about gynaecological pathology have always been an integral part of my life and I have always believed that no mater how complex a disease, it can always be broken down into simpler, easy to understand units.

I completed my undergraduate medical education from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India where I graduated at the top of my MBBS class with a distinction in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

My postgraduate education was in the Oxford Deanery in the the United Kingdom. I now work as a Gynaecologist in a London Teaching Hospital. I am actively involved in education and training of doctors.
